SSV performs audits and calibrations of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), such as AST and QAL2 procedures, in accordance with the main international reference standards (e.g. EN 14181).

These controls are performed by comparing the values provided by the CEMS with the results obtained by SSV through the use of its accurately calibrated and certified reference measurement systems (including discontinuous measurements for dust, metals, etc).

For the execution of these services SSV uses the most modern sampling and measurement equipment.

This service can be provided not only to glass manufacturing companies, but also to other types of plants involving high temperature processes and emissions, like thermal or electrical power generators, cement kilns, oil extraction platforms, incinerators, petrol-chemical plants, refineries, etc.
